We were retained to improve and secure a manufacturing infrastructure. Lacking a firewall we recommended and installed a commercial UTM (unified threat management) system for their business. As part of the UTM solution they were provided with a web filtering, VPN, and IPS product. We centralized their anti-virus and standardized desktops and servers to improve reliability and security.

A financial company contacted us to discuss a proposal they had received for upgrading their current Exchange environment. The current environment was currently running on-site at their location. The proposal was to replace the current hardware and software. Being a SMB they do not require a full time technology staff. After reviewing the proposal we met with them and offered a hosted solution. The solution removed the cost of hardware and software upgrades, electricity and support costs of the new server. Security was improved with the hosted solution as their email is hosted in a SAS70 compliant data center. We have created email policies and procedures. The client can access their email from several mediums including webmail, an email client and smart phones.
